The role involves designing, scaling, and improving the user experience in key products, working closely with engineering, design, and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance on-chain governance applications, focusing on product, scalability, and user experience.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to design and implement new features.
- Work on full-stack development, with an emphasis on Next.js and TypeScript for the frontend.
- Design efficient solutions for managing data in the backend.
- Implement automated tests and contribute to technical documentation.
- Drive improvements in infrastructure, system design, and ease of contribution for other developers.
- Contribute to the evolution of contracts, architecture, data layers, and mobile experience.
- 8-10 years of experiencein software development, with a focus on blockchain.
- Experience working withthree or more production-grade stacksand distributed systems using object-oriented languages.
- Proficiency in buildingNext.js and TypeScript web applications(80% of the role).
- Experience withon-chain wallets, assets, and permissionless systems(20% of the role).
- Strong knowledge ofWeb3, crypto, and blockchain technologies.
- Experience in software architecture, particularly inmigrating Web2 processes to on-chain solutions.
- Ability to readSoliditycode.
- Understanding ofEthereum’s architectureand familiarity withL2 solutions.
- Strongcomputer science fundamentals, particularly in building scalable and maintainable systems.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code that facilitates collaboration within a codebase.
Nice to Have
- Experience inopen-source projects.
- Knowledge of thecrypto governance ecosystem(e.g.,ERC20Votes).
- Experience withEVM Indexers.
- Ability to improve infrastructure through building design systems and optimizing the contribution process for other developers.
