Your mission: Make an impact 🎯

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) and Process Automation Specialist to join our finance team. This role will focus on streamlining and automating the accounts receivable processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AR operations and experience with process automation tools to drive improvements.

How you’ll drive success 🏆

  1. Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Oversee and manage the company’s AR functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
    • Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with customers on overdue invoices, ensuring timely payments.
    • Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and work closely with customers to resolve billing issues.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate AR aging reports and provide insights into collections performance.
  2. Process Automation:
    • Identify and implement opportunities for automation in the accounts receivable process to increase operational efficiency.
    • Work with finance and IT teams to design, test, and implement automated solutions such as invoicing, payment reminders, and collections workflows.
    • Use RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, and other automation tools to optimize repetitive tasks, such as data entry and report generation.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time visibility into AR performance and KPIs.
  3. Reporting & Analytics:
    • Provide regular reports on AR aging, cash flow projections, and collections activity to senior management.
    • Analyze trends in customer payments, identify patterns of delayed payments, and recommend actions for improvement.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to AR, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure accurate invoicing and effective communication with customers.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions into existing financial systems.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in AR and process automation.
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements and lead projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the AR department.
    • Drive the adoption of best practices for data integrity, compliance, and financial reporting.
  6. Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations related to AR processes.
    • Identify and address potential credit risk or fraud issues through proactive monitoring and analysis.

What makes you the perfect fit 🤝

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, finance operations, or a similar role.
    • Proven experience with process automation in AR (e.g., RPA tools, ERP systems, AI-based solutions).
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and payment processing platforms.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial reporting.
    • Experience with process automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate) preferred.
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Highly organized, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving efficiency.
